This is where the music draws from: space of all that is unspoken, and that which may be spoken too often yet never really heard. Walking backwards through the bloody hours, blear the city with an eye's distance... the resonance of clocks betray the ears. The game of space is how to fill it, with sound, with silence, sex and secrets.. the music then draws from its gameplay with space and sound.. it echoes the streets, redlights neon and chrome, it echoes the need to forget the city and follow the stables that lost their horses.. it echoes the soul of everyman that ever said... fuck it... let's just rakenrol.

Crowjane was formed in May 2007 where members were handpicked from an assortment of musical and art backgrounds Marc Lopez a former UST conservatory student and guitarist of Kinkyhooters band (guitars) JM Quiblat a freelance photographer (Bass) Shock Lozada budding painter (Guitars) and Wilf Trinidad, website designer (Drums) along with Nicole Asensio, a young author and stage actress who is also formerly the frontwoman of rock band Scylla...
In August 2007 Crowjane released their EP with songs such as Dog Under the Sun and ballad Sewn to Skin and soon after The band won the title of manila representative in the REDHORSE MUZIKLABAN GRAND FINALS, an grand event and great learning experience to be thankful for.

Currently seeking recording or distribution deals with Major recording labels, Crowjane is Available and ready for the picking with their compilation of 12 songs to be done by april 2008!!! .

THE SOUND
"New rock has been sadly overrun by boy bands with guitars in hand This is what makes ballsy new band Crowjane as refreshing as a draft beer in a chilled mug, served with a shot of irony that it’s headed by someone born without a pair. Hearing Crowjane belt out a few gutsy riffs and a scorched female howl, you can imagine them rockin’ a biker bar, behind a chicken wire-shielded stage.
Lead singer Nicole’s vocals easily draw comparisons to Sass Jordan when first heard (“Dog Under the Sun”), but the depth of range can make her sound like a completely different singer within the same song (“Siklo”, “Between the Bullets”). Onstage she can turn into Janis reincarnated, this woman is as far from music’s pop tarts as penguins are from palm trees. You won’t hear the whine and pine about boys in her surprisingly mature lyrics. Marc Lopez can groove like Lenny with the rolling pimp chords, can easily scream a thrasher’s tap a la Eddie, and even the occasional Dire thumb-picking of his namesake Knopfler. Sharing the lead is Shock Lozada, who plays with an edge reminiscent of Kim Thayil (“Tikom”) of early Soundgarden. The songs that can break into guitar symphonies (“Siklo”, “Sewn to Skin”) can only be done on strong, flowing bass lines by JM Quiblat. It is the solid stick work of Wilf Trinidad that give these standout songs that give epic feel that makes us remember glam rock power ballads long after the hair is forgotten.“Woman I Knew” sounds like it was jammed out in that historical week when The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion was written – except with singer a little less girly than Chris Robinson, and helluva lot prettier." -Mike Lopez, magazine writer.

In the 70's, it was Howlin' Dave who gave the much needed exposure to the obscure music of local rock bands in his acclaimed radio program, "Pinoy Rock and Rhythm". He was an active rock DJ until his demise... proof of his undying dedication to spread the gospel of Pinoy rock thru radio.
Howlin' Dave (Dante David) has made the trip to rock n' roll heaven recently... There will be a tribute /fundraiser event for Howlin' Dave on:
